SkyBitz VP of Sales – National Accounts
Description
As a key member of the sales team, the VP of Sales – National Accounts will report to the Senior Vice President of Sales and will be responsible for generating new revenue as well as expanding / up-selling established accounts.
Each sales team member will carry a monthly/quarterly/yearly quota that will be based on corporate objectives.
Responsibilities include soliciting, selling, implementing and maintaining large multi-location/national accounts. Develop and implement long term selling strategies, customer partnerships and business alliances. Increase revenue with profitable margins.
Responsibility/Activity
Direct Sales of Asset Tracking and Management Technologies:
Sales Development (Estimated Annual % of Time: 60%)
- The VP of Sales – National Account is an individual contributor responsible for acquiring new large Customers, organically growing existing customers, and growing sales on an individual account basis according to the established target customer profiles.
- This individual is responsible to contribute to the formulation, verification, and execution of ongoing sales strategy of the company in support of the SVP of Sales.
- This individual will be responsible to formulate and execute account strategies as per his/her assigned accounts and territories such that his/her assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual quotas are met and exceeded on a consistent basis.

SkyBitz Senior Director of PLM
Director / Senior Director of PLM (pending on experience)
Description of Purpose
This is a leadership role reporting to the Senior Vice President of Marketing and Product Management and will have the responsibility for driving strategic direction, program development, sales enablement, and product solution planning for SkyBitz’s software, services and hardware solutions. The right candidate will be a strong leader, creative, analytical, innovative and strategic in nature, able to negotiate and influence at the executive and manager levels. Scope is global in nature and includes coverage of any elements of the company’s solution portfolio.
The Senior Director of Product Management will analyze industry and customer trends to develop deep market understanding and then create a portfolio of products, services and solutions to meet the needs of customers. The role will establish relationships with both external suppliers and internal parties by working collaboratively to deploy creative and industry solutions. To be successful, the candidate must have highly-polished program management and product management skills. The candidate must be technically savvy, possess a big-picture vision, and have the ability to drive and make a product vision a reality. He/she also must be highly skilled in writing (e.g. Product Requirement Documents, etc), building business cases, presentations, negotiating (internal and external), and general communication skills.
SkyBitz Senior Software Engineer
Description
Reporting to the Director of Software Engineering, the Senior Software Engineer is responsible for business and corporate development efforts to design and develop front-end applications software, deploy/maintain applications, and support system testing and the Customer Care department. As a senior member of the team, the candidate will also be responsible for developing enhancements to applications for InSight. InSight is SkyBitz’s comprehensive, secure, web-based asset-monitoring and information management tool. InSight, BackOffice, XML, and Notifiers are all part of the Front-End Application Suite and are based on Java/J2EE and deployed on a Weblogic application server. The following is an estimated breakdown of annual time spent on each activity.
Responsibility/Activity
20% - Design
50% - Code/Test
10% - Testing Support
10% - Customer Support (investigating level 3 customer issues, data conversions, etc.)
10% - Production Support (monitoring, performance tuning, server setups and health tuning, carrying pager, etc.)
Other duties as may be assigned from time to time by manager
Experience
- Minimum of 8 to 10 years of relevant functional software development experience
- Ability to develop enhancements, design and develop integrations with external partners and third-party services
- Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship
