Power Solutions
At SkyBitz, we're experts at deploying the best power management systems in the industry. The proprietary, patented GLS technology gives us the ability to extend our battery life for years. To maximize the life of your device, we have three different power management solutions. So no matter what your power requirements are—from reporting once a day to once every thirty minutes—SkyBitz offers a power management solution that works for you.
Internal Battery Pack
Our GLS technology is so sophisticated that it enables us to produce multi-year battery life available anywhere from standard "AA" lithium batteries. The Internal Battery Pack comes standard with the Mobile Terminal and consists of "AA" lithium batteries.
BAT-XTNDR
The external BAT-XTNDR is mounted in front of the Mobile Terminal on the roof of the trailer and connected via a cable to the Mobile Terminal. The addition of the BAT-XTNDR allows the user to increase the frequency of reports and/or paging intervals while maintaining long battery life.

External Power Module
The SkyBitz External Power Module (EPM) allows you to power the Mobile Terminal from vehicle power when a trailer is tethered to a tractor. The intelligent power system of the Mobile Terminal will automatically revert to its internal battery and your defined power conservation configuration when vehicle power is unavailable.
As an additional feature, the External Power Module will monitor and log when a trailer is tethered or untethered, and it can be configured to electronically alert you of a status change.
