The GTP1000 and GTP1100 introduce instant installation verification, assuring that each device is installed and connected properly via built-in LEDs, eliminating any guesswork. An optional magnetic key allows users to check battery status and send a diagnostic message while in the field. Replacing batteries is simple because the GTP1000 is powered by off-the-shelf “AA” lithium batteries.
The Galaxy Series GTP1000 and GTP1100 were built to last. The ruggedized, low profile, weather proof housing for both units are designed to withstand the harsh environments of the transportation, intermodal, and construction industries. The devices can also accommodate a suite of additional sensors, such as cargo, door and tire pressure, which cover a variety of security, environmental and operational reporting requirements.
There are two standard models in the Galaxy Series, the GTP1000 and the GTP1100. The self-contained GTP1000 is attached to the asset using an easily attached mounting bracket, eliminating the need for special tools and cutting holes. The GTP1100 provides a small remote antenna that can be attached to any asset, allowing the owner to install the actual mobile terminal in a non visible location for additional security purposes.
As an option the Galaxy Series tags can be equipped with a GPS receiver, the GTP1050 provides enhanced SkyFence and Lockdown options to the end user.
