The SkyBitz InSight web application will be configured by your designated administrator, ensuring that the application works with your company's specific needs. Administrators assign users, determine how your trailers are grouped, and set up the frequency and recipients of special alerts.

Use personalized views of trailer information to match the needs of your fleet on the SkyBitz InSight web application or integrate your SkyBitz data directly into your fleet dispatch system using XML (Extensible Markup Language). You can also download reports into existing Excel spreadsheets for sorting and data mining.

Groups

Administrators can group similar assets to manage settings collectively. User access can be granted or denied for the entire group or for selected users — allowing regional offices, for example, to view only assets operating in their region.

Email Alerts

Assets that require intensive monitoring can be managed using SkyBitz Position and Sensor Alert Data, sent in real time to a customer-specified email address. These high-priority messages can be viewed using your desktop, cell phone, pager, or PDA.

Customizable Preferences

The SkyBitz InSight application allows administrators to define the overall account details for your company, such as:

Location of assets for monitoring
Detailed information on asset locations
Values delivered per page
Account access and log-ons

SkyFencing

InSight enables customers to set latitude/longitude "Landmarks," points of interest such as shipper and consignee locations, yards, maintenance facilities, and other key locations. The customer can set a custom-sized radius around a Landmark to create a SkyFence. As monitored assets enter or exit the SkyFence, customers can opt to receive notification emails. SkyFencing offers:

Custom perimeter radius of 0.25 to 50 miles
Monitoring of International Border Crossings with optional email notifications
Higher reporting rate profiles for trailers operating in a foreign country
Status changes sent to cellular phones or pagers using a standard email address

Asset Management

Online management of asset IDs for each new and existing Mobile Terminal (MT)
Unique asset ID for each asset, including characteristics such as asset type (such as dry van trailers or reefers)
Core set of standard asset types provided to you automatically
Custom asset type definitions
Asset details screen allows control of installed assets, including renaming assets, setting asset type, and adding comments for individual assets
Mobile Terminal setup, including installation, de-installation, replacement and transfer of an MT from one asset to another
