SkyBitz and McLeod Software Add New Asset Management Features in Latest Release of LoadMaster
Users will Gain Deeper Insights to Their Assets and Cargo from One Integrated System
HERNDON, Va. – May 28, 2013 -- SkyBitz®;, the leader in remote asset tracking and information management solutions,
and McLeod Software, a leading provider of transportation management software, announced new capabilities in the integrated asset tracking management module
now available to customers. With this newest integration, users are provided with visibility within McLeod Software’s LoadMaster Version 11.2 of enhanced SkyBitz asset
information. Customers will be able to view auto-populated information such as the current and historical location of a trailer, last drop date and time, cargo empty
or loaded, door opened or closed, and trailers starting and stopping motion.
SkyBitz and McLeod Software first made integrated asset information available through LoadMaster in 2006 and an enhanced version was introduced with the
McLeod Software Winter 2011 release. This latest version introduces a new set of features to offer an even more robust asset tracking management solution.

The enhanced, integrated SkyBitz information now available through LoadMaster can help companies make more informed decisions about their business by allowing them to:
- See the most recent location of their trailer, enabling them to quickly identify available trailers for load assignment, and eliminating any “lost” trailers.
- View the nearest landmark or location of a trailer along with the date and time.
- Manage the trailer pool using the actual drop date of when a trailer has been disconnected from the tractor.
- Identify highlighted location discrepancies reported by both the mobile terminal and by user-inputs for quick reconciliation.
- Check battery status of each asset’s mobile terminal for better maintenance planning.
- Take action regarding trailer use based on actual trailer status and location information
- Determine when loads have been delivered to unplanned locations using the cargo empty/loaded and location data.
- Improve control of trailers being utilized by their customers for unauthorized loads through the use of exception based reporting.

Prior to integration, users only had visibility to SkyBitz generated asset information from within SkyBitz InSight. These enhancements provide the ability to identify the availability
of trailers within the closest proximity for a load pick up, reducing empty miles and occurrences of lost trailers. Customers currently using the McLeod LoadMaster interface to SkyBitz
