The World’s First Two-Way Communication IECEx/ATEX Zone 0 Certified Tracking Device
Last month, the SkyBitz team had the pleasure of attending the Offshore Technology Conference, a “gathering for energy professionals to exchange ideas and opinions to advance scientific and technical knowledge for offshore resources and environmental matters.”
More than 2,600 exhibiting companies and 68,000 attendees from over 120 countries came together at NRG Park (a complex including the homes of the NFL Texans and MLB Astros) to gain leading-edge technical information, the industry’s largest equipment exhibition.
The focus of this year’s OTC was the Internet of Things (IoT) and Endless Innovation – ever-increasing trends in the telematics industry. With the emphasis on ground-breaking technology and energy industry leaders in attendance, SkyBitz chose the event to publicly unveil the world’s first two-way communication IECEx/ATEX Zone 0 certified tracking device – the SkyBitz Galaxy GTP4050.
